Hello, I need help regarding PC Build

Budget (including currency): £1,600-£1,800

Country: UK

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: 2560 x 1440 gaming (referesh rate 165Hz), pretty much any game from league to cyberpunk

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I have the monitor and the mouse, I will have to get a keyboard, but would like to exclude the price of that in this build

 

I am looking to buy all this as soon as possible, latest being around 4 January

 

*I was looking at liquid cooling, however I saw some posts saying it could leak and that scared me off*

that's actually decent for the price, alltho you could go to NVME and hard drive apporach for more storage but if you think that a 1tb ssd will be enough for you then i won't complain, also why RGB Fans on a mesh case that it will probably or probably not glow up (unless you are putting them on the top).

 

Now you gotta hope that by the time you build it, that RTX 3060 Ti will drop in price because it seems a little too high but i guess better than Scalping prices...

Swapped out the cooler(looks, Noctua has the Chromax if you want Noctua), motherboard(B550 is a better option for you), RAM(better timings), and SSD(equivalent performance, better price).

Adjusted it to be a better gaming system overall. Good luck getting any of it tho as you know no stock of the ryzen or rtx cards.

its so funny because if the gpus sold for retail, these builds would actually be at a very good price

Because you will not be utilizing the features of X570, so you can save money and get an overall better motherboard by going with B550.

I see, should I stick to the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 3.8 GHz 8-Core Processor or go for cheaper AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 3.7 GHz 6-Core Processor

 

Also, someone else recommended a MSI MAG B550 TOMAHAWK MB and again, I am confused as to which one to go for

 

The RAM also seems to differ but not sure why, G.Skill Trident Z Neo 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 CL16 Memory at £114 and Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 CL18 at £74

• 5600X delivers nearly equivalent gaming performance, so I'd go with that.
• Either board is fine. The Aorus Pro is a bit overkill, but it's a really good board. Even the board linked below would do just fine. Choose based off the features you need/want.

i am sorry to ask so many questions, I am just worried, I am torn between choosing a 3060ti or 3080, what would you recommend, I found a website that adds me to a queue and Asus Geforce RTX 3080 TUF Gaming 10GB GDDR6X Graphics Card is priced at £745, and there is another where I found an ASUS GeForce RTX 3060 Ti TUF 8GB GPU at £500. I am just wondering what do you recommend, I heard people buying on Ebay but I dont really trust that, especially since they both sell for ridiculous amounts on there

I wanted to know, considering I have never done anything like this, but watched some videos on how to build, do you think it will be hard for me to do so? I heard the cpu can very easily be damaged and I am scared to buy it only to damage it and mess everything up

 

Someone mentioned something about stand offs and forgeting that, I don't even know what that is, there is so much excitement and so much fear in building this

3080 is by far the better card so get that. Do not buy from scalpers on ebay
