forthat cpu mayby used rx 570 or 580. they are great value. usually rx 570 sells for 60-100$ while rx 580 is 80-120$

if you want an nvidia alternative:

I would say a GTX 1650 Super is a decent value and has comparable performance to the RX 570.

Alltho if I were to recommend, well you can get a GTX 1660 Super and stuff but if we are talking about entry level that can run 99% of the games at 60 FPS then the RX 570 (Nvidia Alternative: GTX 1650 Super) are the best choices

Make sure to quote me if you want me to respond
Thanks :)

It is recommended you look on ebay, they will come lower than your budget (used) and even if it is used, you'll gurantee it will work well more than AliExpress

Wow those are some bad prices for the 1060, indeed it just isn't worth it. If your not interested in console emulation then the RX 570 is a very good choice.

Not a very good choice for this time and age i don't advice getting anything other then the 6 GB variant.

I play Metros Exodus and Forza Horizon on triple monitor @ 5040x1050  resolution 48:10 aspect ratio with a humble  Nvidia 1060. Works more than fine

I'm honestly glad that its working out for you, but there are other games out there and some quite hungry when it comes to VRAM (MHW at higher settings comes to mind), while some like metro exodus and forza might play nicely with the 1060 3gb version in something like Mirror's Edge Catalyst you can have half the frame rate of the regular 1060 6GB card, there are also cases where the lack of those 3 Gb of VRAM lead to stutters, stutters not present on the 6 Gb version.

I didn't list all the games i have tried, the list is looong. Well if the price is right one can get the 6gb version. I always prefer Nvidia over AMD (ATI)

AMD fan boy i guess

no. you are a fanboy if you prefer one company from another. AMD is pretty good on gpus and cpus right now. rx 580 beats 1060's, rx 570 1050 tis, 5600XT rtx 2060s, 5700 rtx 2060 supers etc. those are facts.

Well if its working out for you and you got your money's worth that's what counts, but i'm just saying there are scenarios where the 3Gb has its drawbacks and as games get more and more VRAM hungry its better to play it on the safe side. As for NVIDIA vs AMD, i honestly don't care unless where talking ENB and console emulation, as far as opengl is concerned the windows support is bad for AMD thus it can be rendered pretty useless in emulation. i haven't followed it lately but last i knew ENB worked really bad with AMD as well, if the person that needs a new gpu has no need for either of those then AMD has good value, or if the person plans on using it on Linux again AMD is a very good option (at the time of this post maybe the best option), though i am a bit worried now that Apple wants to shake them off and create there own cards, i'm worried that Linux support might worsen.

I'm sure you can get away with 3gb for a lot of games, but for others it's cutting it real close and you'll have to lower settings by a lot, it's not really adequate nowadays anymore imo.

Also ATi is dead, killed by AMD who sold off the best parts after buying them... never has been the same since, never will. ~
