So I've been playing games on a pc that I got as a gift for Christmas for awhile now, problem is that it's pretty weak for the games I want or have already purchased. Now to clarify this is my first build and overall what I would like to come away with is a pc that can take most modern games that will run medium to high settings with good fps. The budget I have set for myself is $1500 - $2000, but I don't know what performance I'll get from a pc for this budget so any help or tips is very welcome. Thank you for taking the time for helping this pc noob in advance. (:

Now here's a list of games I would like to play with this build, I hope this helps assist those of you helping me and again thanks for your time and assistance.

-Skyrim

-Rome 2

-Arma 3

-Battlefield 4

-Crysis 3

The performance you'll get out of a build with that budget, if the parts are selected properly, will be phenomenal. $2000 is a lot of room to budget in semi-high end parts.

Sounds awesome, happy to hear I'll be getting great performance.

Thank you for the build help, by the way love the pikachu.

What system do you currently have? It might be something we can work off of and save you a little bit of money.

Its a hp envy from best buy, it's got an amd fx 6120 six core processor and an amd Radeon hd 7450. It's loud and doesn't like skyrim or most newer games in general.

You can get more performance out of this by adding a 2nd 780 while still staying in the $2000 or going with a single 780 ti, but unless you are going for 2560x1440 it wont really matter since the 780 destroys 1080p.

What are you current specs?

Is a copy of Windows or any peripherals needed?

I've got windows 8.1, razor death adder mouse, and have a monitor I'm happy with

Do you want to order from a single retailer or do you not mind buying from multiple and saving more money?
