Well i got hyped to buy the LTT mousepad and now that i can't, i still feel like i need one
Does anybody have a suggestion?
I was always buying "just a mousepad" but the problems that i have are:
1) After some time on a gaming session, i notice some spots of the mousepad that are not responding correctly and i have to switch spot
2) i ve had a rough that i goes it's called "control" pad and it apearred to be scratched till i washed it. Marks appeared easoly and looked dirty
Is there any reference/ legendary mousepad that is just the do-all-good that i dont know of?
Is there a brand that i need to know about?
Any special features that i don't know about and i need them but i don't know it?
Thanks for your time

I just look for a cheap one that's well rated and is braided around the edges. Currently using the Cooler Master MP510 which is nice. I have an older mousepad that had some dead spots like you mentioned. I think that's hand oils getting into the fabric. I had to wash and lightly scrub mine twice but was mostly able to fix the problem. Use something like dish soap, it should be more aggressive on oils. With mousepads, some factors include static and kinetic friction when moving the mouse but it's complicated and you can't always find that information on specific mousepads.

The mousepad I had that developed dead spots was a steelseries one that had a very fine texture. The Cooler Master one I have is quite rough so may mitigate that issue.

Just get a cheap one with braided edges off of Amazon. That's what I got, cost me $16 CDN, and has been absolutely outstanding. Mine was a deskpad.

The only real reason to buy the LTT one is if you're buying one of the huge sizes, or want to support the brand. Other than that they're incredibly overpriced.

you have to understand here that i know the solution, and i only want to spend money on something that i don't really really need :D
But by doing so, i wanna learn something and have a product that i wont regret buying it

The chances of you noticing the difference between mousepads to a point where it affects your gaming performance is very, very small.

I like the cloth-covered rubber type that used to be standard in a bygone era. These stand a few millimetres high and are generally durable. They will probably give me cancer though.

I understand gaming mousepads now attract hefty mark-up and overmarketing with sticker-shock to match..
