Why is Geforce telling me to put my brothers PC build on all low in fortnite?? (Ryzen 2600x + RTX 2060)

No Idea but it also gave me bad advice on GTA V and I am playing all high settings as well. The gane runs on really old hardware as well, no reason not to max out those settings. The only reason I can thing of is that it calculates those values if RTX is on.

its probably not trying to target 60 fps but trying to get to a much higher framerate, thats my best guess.

If you click the wrench icon, is the resolution and the performance/quality slider correct?

I never found Geforce Experience optimization useful. If you want a quick and dirty playable experience ...I guess it's fine but some manual try and testing is better IMO.
