New gaming pc slow startup

Whenever i startup my new rig my motherboard led goes from yellow to red for about 10 seconds before it switches to white and eventually green and boots up. What could be causing this? Mobo is asus rog strix b450f gaming

what's your bios time though?

Maybe your disk in not option #1 in boot order?

10 seconds is not the end of the world. If it's slow after it goes past initializing disable startup items and services you don't need every time through win + R, msconfig

ASUS motherboards seem to do this. My ROG board and 3 other Prime boards I have worked with have all done the same. All b450 boards.

 

I bet you have a little blinking cursor on your screen before the ROG logo?

My aorus b450 does it, and an msi 570 as well, the LEDs are self checking if everything is ok and it's so helpful on pc build and troubleshooting. But I think fast boot as Tyler above said can "solve this"
