Quiet but powerful PSU

Kev.

Hi all,

I'm putting together a new build (spec below) and in comparison to my last build, which is a stationary jet engine, I'm putting some effort into keeping this one somewhat quiet.

I've left the PSU last on my shopping list because the more I read the more I keep changing my mind, and now I've got to the point where I'm just reading completely contradictory advice.

Initially I was going to go for BeQuiet! Straight Power 11 Platinum however after some reading I discovered a lot of people complaining about coil whine.

Then I looked at Corsair AX Titanium and Seasonic Prime Titanium but those apparently have some very crappy fans.

Price isn't an issue, and I'm confident that 850W is the range I need, I just need some advice on what PSU's aren't noisy buggers at high loads!

Thanks in advance,

Kev.

Oh, and the spec list is as follows:

Motherboard: x570 Tomahawk

CPU: AMD 5600x (to be OC'd)

RAM: G.Skill TridentZ 3600mhz CL16 (to be OC'd to hell and back)

GPU: ASUS TUF 3080 (to be OC'd, only mildly)

SSD: Samsung 980 Pro 1TB

Cooler: Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360

Fans: x6 Arctic P12

If you're wondering why I've cheaped out on the CPU in comparison to the rest of the build, it's because I was lucky enough to mash the buy button fast enough on that one and that one alone!

Thanks for such a fast reply!

To save me having to research a further 5 types of PSU is there one that you would recommend for 850W, and will the efficiency rating make any significant difference on that recommended model?
