Budget (including currency): ~$2000au (flexible)

Country: Australia

Gday guys, I'm pretty new to PC building and kinda need some help making sure the new parts I'm getting are compatible.

What I currently have:

CPU: Intel i5-6500 (w/ Intel stock cooler)

Motherboard: Gigabyte B150M-D3H-CF

RAM: 16GB HyperX Fury DDR4

GPU: Gigabyte GTX 970

SSD: Crucial BX200 240gb

HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2tb

Case: Thermaltake Versa N25 (w/ 600w 80+ Bronze PSU, I think its a TR2 as it came with the case) + 1 preinstalled 120mm rear exhaust fan

Disc Drive: LG GH24NSD1

Windows 10

What I want to get:

Intel i7-9700k

MSI RTX 3060 Ti Ventus 2x OC 8gb

Thermaltake TH240 ARGB AIO liquid cooler

be quiet! Pure Wings 120mm case fan (x2)

(Also, if I get these new parts, will I need to get a new motherboard or PSU? I put this new build into PC part picker & it says its fine, however retailers recommend 650+w for the 3060Ti. If so, I was thinking of getting a Thermaltake 700w Smart RGB power supply)

The main reason why I want these new parts is because my current hardware is starting to struggle to run games (the CPU is starting to bottleneck & my 970 struggles to run newer games.) According to HWinfo my components are running pretty hot, thanks to only having an intel stock cooler & 1 case fan.

I don't want to replace many of my old components, as 16gb of ram has been fine so far and my hard drives are still running fine, but if I need to then I will.

Any and all help / advice is much appreciated :)

i tink that you should get a radeon gpu, like the 470 or 480 since they are under $200 and have 8gb configs, and unless ur doing light work on it, pls get a cooler other than intel

rx 400 series and rtx 30 series are completely different, how can you possibly recommend a 470 or 480 to a 3060 ti buyer?

I kinda wanted to stick with an intel GPU as I don't know a whole lot about AMD / Radeon, plus I think a 3060 would be good as it'll last me quite a long time and by the time its reached the end of its run i'll likely be done with gaming, but I'll read a bit more into it

That looks sick but $250AU is pretty pricey...
