Very inconvenient issue

So ever since Cyberpunk came out and I've been playing that on my 1080 ti, I've had these issues where sometimes when I open up a browser while playing or sometimes even not playing, both monitors will just display the color of the webpage but nothing else, no task bar no nothing and the only way to fix it is to hold the power button and restart the computer. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the graphics driver but I don't know what could be causing this.

full specs? amd cpus are waiting for a patch, especially older cpus. The game has so many bugs i'm playing with 1 monitor only, gsync off, and i dont dare open up a browser let alone a youtube video.

well since I frequent here a lot, it would definitely seem there's an issue with current nvidia drivers *especially* 1000 series... and that's independent of CP... 

 

you could simply try rolling back to previous drivers which often fixes such issues - if only to test it, but from experience you don't really need new drivers for new games anyway (usually)
