I've come accross this picture and I'm very interested by recreating this backlighting for my monitors. It looks great and I'm sure it improves your viewing comfort as well. Anyone knows what kind of lighting this person uses and how it is mounted behind the monitors? Thanks!

Buy LED strips and stick them to the back of your monitors.

I do believe that it is just ordinary led strips mounted on the back of the monitor, parhaps "frosted" or something to make it look smoother.

Looks like some DIY white LEDs. But it reminds me of Phillips's Ambilight.

Ikea sells some handy LED stuff. i think they have like 3 x 30 cm in a chain, which you can then arrange to your liking.

I think they refer to them as ambiant lights or something alongs those lines, I remember some TV's a while back having it, apparently it adds something to the experience. But looks cool either way.

You could DIY as people stated above, might be cheaper.
