PLEASE HELP ME! NEW TO PC GAMING

I just started playing on PC and I´m loving it (Used to play on Xbox one first version) but I´m having some problems and I´m loosing it, lol.

This is my set up:

Gigabyte B450H

AMD Ryzen 5 2600

RTX 2060 Windforce OC 6GB

16 GB Ram 3000Mhz

480 GB SSD

Before buying everything I saw a video of a guy with the same GPU but a R5 3600 and he was getting around 110 FPS on High in Warzone

First I was only getting around 75-85 on High, but when I turned everything to medium or low I was still getting about the same FPS maybe 5-8 more.

I downloaded Nvidia drivers again and selected the clean installation option and things got a bit better. But just a bit.

Now I´m getting around 80-90 on Medium but I think I should be getting a lot more, my specs are way better than the recommended specs.

I´ve tried low, medium, high and I still get around the same FPS I´m not noticing any real difference (maybe 5-8 FPS)

My computer power plan is on performance and so is my GPU in the Nvidia control panel.

Is there something else I´m missing?

Bios config?

Drivers?

Nvidia control panel config?

I don´t think my CPU is the issue, it only uses around 60% when running the game.

Can someone please help me?

Besides you having a 2600 and not a 3600 did you set up RAM speeds? That will help a little bit.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

pretty much your issue right there IMO, the 3600 is a significantly faster CPU than the 2600

unless your display is over 60hz then it doesn't really make a difference because you can't display those extra frames anyway

It´s a 144hz monitor.

But if it´s the CPU, then why am I not seeing any difference when I lower everything?

I know I´m not going to get the exact same FPS with a lower end CPU than that guy but I should see difference between settings, right?

On the BIOS config? Yes.

I get that I won´t get the same FPS as the guy with the 3600 but what´s making me go crazy is that even if I lower mi settings my FPS stay pretty much the same.

When you lower the settings your CPU has to send information to the GPU faster. It's not capable of keeping up. If you raise the settings, the GPU has to load more which gives time for the CPU to keep up. You won't get higher frames by raising settings, but you'll shift from waiting on CPU to waiting on GPU.

I play on all low settings and also you aren't going to make leaps and bounds with gaining fps by changing your settings honestly. Just make sure you have all settings at low, Raytracing OFF, DLSS off and you'll be fine.
