This will be my first "gaming" computer. I tried to add room for upgrading, also I do mind aesthetics. Here's what I got so far.

CPU: i5-4440

GPU: EVGA GTX 770 ACX dual

SSD: ADATA 64GB 128GB

MB: GIGABYTE GA-B85N

RAM: Mushkin 8GB (2x4GB)

HD: WD Black 1TB

Case: EVGA Hadron Mini ITX

Any ideas and help?

ssd is way too small

you can get a 120gb for just a bit more

then you can put all your games programs and files on it so everything runs faster

save the 1tb drive for music/pics/vids only

also get a 4570k

then overclock for more performance

if this is your first build i would reccommend a case that has more room to work in, but its not impossible if you know what youre doing

NEW PC build: Blank Heaven   minimalist white and black PC     Old S340 build log "White Heaven"        The "LIGHTCANON" flashlight build log        Project AntiRoll (prototype)        Custom speaker project

Spoiler

Ryzen 3950X | AMD Vega Frontier Edition | ASUS X570 Pro WS | Corsair Vengeance LPX 64GB | NZXT H500 | Seasonic Prime Fanless TX-700 | Custom loop | Coolermaster SK630 White | Logitech MX Master 2S | Samsung 980 Pro 1TB + 970 Pro 512GB | Samsung 58" 4k TV | Scarlett 2i4 | 2x AT2020

Include a bigger ssd, get the k version of your processor, and if you can afford it a better cpu cooler. Other than that it looks great, you'll love it! :)

I'll get a bigger SSD, maybe the K, and I'm sticking with the default one that comes with the i5.

The case will do just fine, It's kinda like the pre-built HP I have now, which I added a new graphics card and ram. I'll go with the 120 SSD too.

Are you dead set on the Hadron? It takes a good chunk out of your budget that could go elsewhere.

What kind of videos are you editing? Programs being used?

What game servers are you hosting? For how many people? Possible mods?

Yes, i am set on the Hadron, looks good and it's pretty small. The videos i will try to make are Let's Plays and such. I will be using Fraps and Sony movie studio. The servers i plan on hosting would source games, Modded Minecraft servers, and what ever my friends are playing (2-10 friends). I don't plan on them being 24/7.

Is wifi needed or did you just happen to grab a motherboard with wifi?

Are you dead set on oc'ing? The case is quite small and doesn't allow for beefy air coolers so I'd stick with a non-oc route.

Getting Wifi because i might be switching rooms in my house, and we don't have in wall Ethernet. I don't plan on overclocking.

In that case, there's no need to use a z87 motherboard nor the k series cpu.

You could quite easily go with a 770: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3b2vZ

Took out the k, and changed to mother board to the one on your list. Added 770.
