What is the best GPU for an i5 6400?

nolimitmischa

(in advance: I am completley new to this topic).

Recently I have noticed that I am not able to play most of the games on my PC on high graphics settings. I asked my friends and they said its because of my GPU. Currently I have a Nvidia gtx 745 (OEM) and I would like to buy a better one but (obviously) I have no idea what GPU would be the best option. My processor is a Intel Core i5-6400. Please help me🙏

If your PSU is above 500W (and is a good quality unit) id get a 5600XT. Just get it after it drops below $300

Are you playing at 1080p, 60fps?

A used RX 580/480 at around $120 is a good purchase for a budget system

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.
