artic mx 4 gets watery on gpu but not on cpu

so 2 weeks ago i changed thermal paste on rx 580 and now the max temp in furmark is 80c but now that i applied and tested its 75c. but on cpu it has been untouched for a month now and its fine with same tube of mx4. is mx4 bad for gpu dies? it wasnt outdates or something like that was stored in pretty cool place
