Benchmarking a 3080 FE build

So I put together my build about a month ago. Link to pc part picker : - https://pcpartpicker.com/user/rohanddave/saved/#view=mMCXyc 

I initially had connected the 3080 FE using only one PCIe cable from the PSU, it had two split connectors so I used that to connect to the 12pin to 2 x 8 pin connector provided by nvidia.

I benchmarked my system using this config on 3DMark Time spy and had a score of 14800-14900.

Since I figured that nvidia recommends connecting two different PCIe cables I quickly changed to this config. However now my 3DMark score does not go above 14500,barely scrapes 14300. 

Here are the exact runs on 3DMark.

I can clearly see a drop in GPU score.

Keep in mind I have not overclocked anything and have xmp enabled for both runs.

temps? Clocks? The score does not lower wihtout temps being too high or clocks being not the same. This is not related to power but you can tst with the 1 cable again

Motherboard tier list. Tier A for overclocking 5950x. Tier B for overclocking 5900x, Tier C for overclocking 5800X. Tier D for overclocking 5600X. Tier F for 4/6 core Cpus at stock. Tier E avoid.

(Also case airflow matter or if you are using Downcraft air cooler)

( You can overclock Tier C just fine, but it can get very loud, that is why it is not recommended for overclocking, same with tier D)

I just cranked up all my case fans to full speed and broke my best result lmao. I guess it was just the temps then.
