My ltt board book has a 10 on the right side of the barcode, does that mean it was the 10th made or something else.

No, the 10 is standard on the end of barcodes I think, sometimes it's a different number, not anything special tho

books, afaik, dont have individually unique barcode

if each individual book have different bar code, stocking shelves in bookstore would be nightmare

 

imagine having to scan every book coming in, and not just by the boxes

 

manufacturers normally use serial number to differentiate between batches and such, not barcode

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

Barcodes are used to tell where a product came from, what kind of product, what company made it, and tell what SKU the product is from. The numbers actually dictate the spacing and such of the actual barcode itself (the white and black bars).

So, sadly no. Like @Moonzy said, serial numbers are used to denote batches usually
