CPU USAGE 100%IN WARZONE!

ASAD ALI

SO YESTERDAY I DOWNLOADED WARZONE AND IT STUTTERED LIKE HELL THERE WAS NO SECOND WHERE IT WAS SMOOTH SO TODAY I DOWNLOADED AN APP QUICKCPU IS ITS NAME AND I SET ITS SETTING TO ULTIMATE PERFORMANCE OF CPU AND WARZONE PLAYED LIKE CHEESE BUT MY GPU (RX 470 4GB SAPPHIRE) IS ONLY USED 20-40% IN USAGE AND CPU IS 100 SO MY QUESTION IS SHOULD I USE MY CPU ON ULTIMATE PERFORMANCE OR SHOULD I USE IT ON DE3FAULT AND IS THERE ANY WAY TO INCREASE MY GPU USAGE AND LOWER CPU USAGE AND MY CPU IS XEON E3 1225 V2.

Warzone is cpu intensive and your 4c/4t cpu is not the best for it. 100% usage for it is expected. What setting are you playing? Playin at low/med will but mroe laod on the cpu than the gpu. Try med-high or high settings and see if it helps.

Then zoom in on the page. Anyways your cpu is too weak for the game. The game needs at least 8threads and yours is just a 4 core/4thread cpu. Nothing you can do about it but get a better cpu which I wouldn't do on your current platform due to it's age and the new consoles going to make 8thread cpu's obsolete just like the current ones made 4thread cpu's obsolete

Yes and no. It's gonna run the game better but it's old and I wouldn't invest into the platform anymore. I'd look for a platform where you can get 8c/16thread cpu's to match the new consoles at least so you don't end up in the same situation in a year or 2 tops.

Make sure it works on your board and also keep an eye out for possible xeons. It should work since you already have a v2 xeon

Not specifically any of the 3.4ghz + 4c/8t ones should do the trick as long as they are supported by your board

Well, that cpu is already fast for a xeon, changing it to i7 wont give you better result.

i suggest you save a little more.

sell the whole PC but the GPU. and build yourself a cheap Athlon 240g + A320 motherboard.

Should cost you around $100.

ok, but i'm telling you another 200-300mhz from the i7 won't help you with your problem.

i suggest getting a xeon 1275 v2 same performance with an i7, and probably supported by the motherboard.

it's better to just say how much you're willing to spend.

because i7 3770k is not cheap.

i have budget of 105 dollars and i am getting i7 3rd in 100 dollars total by selling my phone and if i dont sell my phone than i just have 2-3 dollars haha so i can only afford i7 3rd or an alternative to it like you said e3 1275 v2

Better keep your phone since that would be too little of an upgrade to solve your problem of warzone not running well enough.

No. And if it did, why would doing so on another CPU be different?
