Kogan 43" 4K UHD HDR LED Smart TV Android TV™ (Series 9, XU9210)

Kris Van Diest

Hi,

So I found this the other day, it's 43" 4K.

The price is reduced because of a maximum of 60Hz.  So Fairly decent features/size for around $150 USD.

It has a LED panel, apparently made by the same manufacterer used by Samsung, Dell, and HP.

And it's a smart TV, so can still perform basic functions while the tower is powered down.

Given the fact that I'm currently rocking with the Vega 11 graphics powerhouse, I'd love to hear opinions as to why it'd be a better idea to buy a dedicated 4K monitor.

I'm not an editor in fact I'm half blind and wear glasses to correct short sightedness, So in the opinion of the masses is this a use case suited to a budget solution such as this?

What would I be really missing out on?

P.S Audio is handled via an external amp.

If you have eye issues, maybe a monitor that can go brighter is better. What i fear with tvs is fonts not always looking the best or halo effects when viewing something bright in a darker background.

Also it is still an LCD just LED backlit, not using OLEDs
