Ryzen 5 2600x B450 Aorus Elite Build Help

I am building a new system:

 

Ryzen 5 2600x

B450 Aorus Elite

Corsair Vengeance LPX 16Gb

Seagate Barracuda 2 TB

Asus Geforce GTX 1650 OC edition

EVGA 500w 80 plus

 

The PC turns on, the CPU light flashes red, the RAM light flashes red, then the CPU light flashes red again and it shuts down.  I have returned and replaced every single component.  The problem persists.  This is my first AMD build.  Everything should be compatible.  Am I missing something here?

do the fans turn on?

Yes, all of the fans and fan LED's turn on, but they all shut off after about 5 seconds.  It is an Apevia Aura case.  A goldish colored light that backlights the eagel's head on the motherboard and the power light on the graphics card remain on.
