So my 3070 came from newegg like this without any packing material, is this normal lol

Sometimes, shipping companies will just ship the box raw. Although, for something as expensive as an RTX 3070, they really should be using something to maybe let the box crush on that instead of on its own weight.

also more clarification this is my first time ordering a new GPU from newegg so I didnt really know what to expect, i just think there should be some packing peanuts or something, the box did have like a few small dents lol

It's normal, there's packing material inside the graphics card box already

Right? if you live in the US you know the REP that UPS has lol. Thankfully the GPU was okay
