What TV brand/model is the best

I have a budget of £260 and looking for a ~42 inch TV, can I have any suggestions as to what brand I should be looking at and what good TV models there are at this price range

That's a steal for that price literally doesn't get better than that

I personally prefer the colour of Samsungs to the better contrast with LG but at that price range that was the best I could find

This tv was a lot more last year. It has a very good panel and produces pretty decently accurate colours hence why the it's a steal comment. Really recommend it over basically anything else in the budget.

I would want to ask the use intended too as if it is more monitor leaning rather than a TV use I would have other options
