Which GPU to get?

I am going to make a pc and I want to know whether to buy a used gtx 1080 ti, a used 1070 ti, used rtx 2070 super, or wait a while for the rtx 3070 to get in stock. I will be doing video editing on 1440p and 2160p, and I will do light gaming with games like minecraft, fortnite, and other games that don't require much gpu muscle.

actually, not the 1070 ti. It is the same price as the 1080 ti.

wait for the rtx 3070. it has better performance than a rtx 2080 ti

I am aware, but I meant should I buy a gtx 1080 ti for the extra memory because I want to video edit.

no, the 1080 ti is worse at editing, lower cuda and tensor count, and just, much, much slower memory, even if there is 3gb more on the 1080ti.

the 2070 super is too much, the 1080 ti is $500 to $450.

too much, wait for 3070. Just because Alaska is cold and far away doesnt justify $400 for a 1080ti

Yeah, that's why you shouldnt take it for above $400.

honestly at that point you're paying for the display outputs, so it's not as worthless as its performance suggests. At least there's the GT520, a faster card that still has nothing to do with performance.

just get a gt710 at that point. fine 1080p csgo perf, same price(ish) as the 510.
