b550 baords and x570 boards did have bips update for ryzen 5000 couple months back but not all the board are updated.

but if its a mobo that has been released in Q4 2020 it will have the new bios? I would order the stuff online so i cant really check for that sticker

probably. most online stores update the pic of the box when ti has the bios.

Little overkill but very good.

You can ask the sellers to update the bios for you. Also you can check ebay. if the board does not work, you can return it and ebay will refund it.

returning is such a hastle(dunno how its spelled), this is one of the cheaper b550s. I dont want to buy a gigabyte mobo because of bad past experience with their hardware, Asus i have used a mobo in the past, and a buddy has been using a Z97 msi mobo and gpu sind 2015 without any issues so i consider msi too. I dont know anybody who owns any Asrock hardware so i would stick to MSI or ASUS when it comes to mobo
