So I'm going to get the 3080 at some point, and I personally prefer the vertical look.

My pc case (Asus Gt501) does allow for it, but I've heard using the case built in slots will set back thermals for aircooled cards.

So people recommend to get a vertical bracket, however many of them aren't compatible with the 2080ti due to its size.

So I assume the 3080 will be the same issue.

Are there any good reviewed brackets out there that support this? I Know cooler master has one that does but I'm not sure if it's any good

I've used this one:

https://www.amazon.com/Phanteks-PH-VGPUKT_02-Universal-Vertical-Pci/dp/B07MW73HTJ

It does not add much length to the card, the down side is that you may have to cut away some of the metal slats between the PCI slot covers on your case to fit in your display cables.

GT501 should be good, it doesnt appear to use cross braces along the PCI-E slots from waht I can make out

Coolermaster, Cablemod and Phanteks all make universal ones. I've also used the Phanteks version in a build and it worked out very well

Thanks for the answers.

I did some more digging and appearently most Vertical GPU mounts are compatible with the 3080 TUF

I mistook PCI Width for PCI slots, IE most aren't compatible with cards that use 3 physcal slots, but are with card that use 2 physical slots but take up more than 2 in width.

My current options then are:

The phanteks model mentioned before @42,5€

Cooler master ver 2.0 @45€

Cablemod version between 55-65€ (depending on how many HDMI cables are incluided)

Currently I'm thinking of going with the cooler master version, I like the modular aspect of it.

Any thoughts?
