Thanks, does it have to be anything below 270mm, or exactly 270mm?

If THAT case (in the NewEgg link) is the case you have...then it is a CyberPower customized Phanteks P360X case.

http://www.phanteks.com/Eclipse-P360X.html

That case, can support UP TO a 400mm (15.7") graphics card.

could you share the model of the case? the external dimensions don't fully decide what length of GPU is suitable. Hard drive cages, among other things, could be in the way.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

it's very spacious, a 270mm graphics card would fit inside with room to spare. (assuming that picture is representative of the case you have)

270 was just the first size that came to mind since it's the size of most nvidia founders edition cards from previous generations, but that case seems to have a ton of free space and I wouldn't be surprised if 300mm or larger could squeeze in there. And of course anything smaller will fit just fine, since the PCIe connection is a standard physical format.

Thank you, do you have any recommendations for what GPU I should get? I was thinking about a Sapphire Pulse RX 5600 XT, I'm pretty new to upgrading.

Are you running an RX-580 right now, like the PC in the NewEgg page?

5600 XT is a decent jump in performance, but again, that can depend on the game.

https://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/2580?vs=2524

If you want a worthy upgrade, I'd go the RX 5700 or RX 5700 XT route.

https://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/2522?vs=2524

With RX 6000-series hitting the market, and RTX 3000-series already "here", might be worthwhile have a look into those as possible options.

Retailers should be clearing out RTX 2000-series and RX 5000-series GPUs now...might be a good time to buy, if you don't mind last generation graphics cards.
