No Display with Asus GTX 780 directcu ii

Dear friends,

I apologize in advance if i make any mistakes or something obvious I am not that tech savvy.

I have this old system I did not use anymore because the HDD died. I tried buying a new HDD, PSU and a GPU. I used to have a GTX 650 and now I bought a second hand ASUS GTX 780 Directcu ii. I know the GPU is working because I tested it out when bought it after benchmarks and I even tested a few games on it.  I have a Asus P8H61-MX R2.0 as a motherboard with a Intel core Intel Core i5-3470 with 8 GB of ddr3 RAM and 1TB of HDD storage.

Once I connected it to my motherboard the fans and the LED indicators were all working but I did not get anything on my display via an HDMI cable.  I changed my PSU to a Cool Master 650W MWE WHITE. I deleted all drivers using DDU, updated bios and even tried tried installing the drivers via the Nvidia website using my old GTX 650. Nothing works. Tried connecting another display and different HDMI cable. I am starting to suspect that maybe my motherboard is incompatible with this GPU. Do you think I should try to get a new motherboard, I haven't tried with a DVI cable yet because I don't own one and I don't know if it is worth a try.

Things I have tried already:

- New PSU

- DDU (display driver uninstaller in safe mode)

- Bios update

- Different HDMI cables

- Different monitor

- Putting in a different PC

Things I haven't tried yet:

- DVI cable

- New motherboard:

- More RAM

My system:

Asus P8H61-MX R2.0

Intel Core i5-3470

8 GB ddr Ram

Cool Master 650W MWE WHITE

1 TB HDD

Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.
