This is the F1 post/thread. I have just seen this on the Formula One website:

The 2021 F1 calendar will feature a brand-new race in Saudi Arabia, with the news that the city of Jeddah will host the inaugural Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in November 2021.

What are your opinions on this?

The F1 redesign sure has gone very abstract.

It's a very strange move to me, given F1's very public commitment to equality this year, for the sport to then head to a country with a poor human rights record like Saudi. It's more than a bit hippocritical to claim to support equality, but to then also support a regime that categorises feminism, homosexuality and atheism as "extremist ideas".

What about the Chinese Grand Prix? Could this be the end to that since the contact does end this year.
