Hi! I just redesigned my build, and some people were saying that my cooler was not enough for my CPU. I was wondering if that was the case. and if so what one should i use? Thanks! It is the Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240L RGB 66.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler pared with an i9-9900k. If there is a better cooler let me know!

On a percentage out of 100

How much is going to be gaming and how much is going to be productivity

How does that effect what i choose?

You're spending too much on stuff you don't need

At 1080p, you really don't need a 3070, or a 9900k - I don't believe you would need 32GB of memory either seeing that you won't be touching the productivity stuff super often.

You can easily get by with midrange parts and save a few bucks

True, I will wait for the rysen 5000 series to see how that is compared. How about the the cooler though. for what my parts are, is enough?

its certainly enough but at that price point i would rather have an air cooler like a scythe fuma 2

Eh. I don't like AIO's, and think you'd be better off with an air cooler.

Regardless, you won't be getting this chip anyways, so it doesn't matter that much

Why Dont you like AIOs

They perform meh for the price most of them are at.

Plus they're louder than an air cooler, have potential to leak or lead to pump failure

as @spartaman64said, a fuma 2 is a great cooler

So is a DRP4 or D15

But it really will depend on the chip you get. If you get something like a 5800x, the stock cooler will do morethan enough
