Hello,

Have someone tried before registering an russian account and getting games on there? Or mby buying keys from 3rd party russian sites. I just noticed that price for its around 26eur only instead of 60, like wtf??

I wonder if the game is playable as russian language is not a problem but Im not sure I can play it as Im in a different region.

sounds like illegitimate/Grey market keys... I would avoid them personally.

what I mean is that russian games on official ubisoft or epic games/ app cost that much. that is why I wonder if its possible to play them elsewhere with an activated key or smth

There's some region-based pricing. Usually Steam and others have region locks with these. It doesn't lock with account, but geolocation of your ISP. So in order to play region locked games, you would need to use VPN. And since services don't like this, your account might get banned if use of VPN is detected.

I'm personally bit in between with these. I don't like the pricing of games currently, and have strong dislike for pricing without thinking (= making price same in Euros as its in USD). I have used Indian Origin in past to get BF4 season pass for half of the price. But also back then it wasn't regulated so tightly.

Im doing same with steam, just used vpn to register russian steam account, and now just buying games on it for much cheaper whenever smth cheap is found. But Im thining if it works with ubisoft, I read some forums that one guy got a gift key of an game from his russian friend, game works but locked to russian language, so I wonder if it same now too as russian language is not a problem.
