Hey guys, I have a 8700k 5ghz and 4.9 on cache 

16gb 3333mhz ram cas 16

2080ti 

 

and watchdogs at 1440p ultra dlss quality and ray tracing medium is maxing my cpu 100 percent on all cores 

gpu usage is down in the 60-80’s 

and I’m at like 50-70 FPS in the world 

 

I have nothing else running and task manage shows the game using 97 percent usage on watchdogs 

 

someone tell me what the hell is going on lol ?

Sounds about right for an Ubisoft game.

Games on release usually perform lesser than they can be, updated over time...

Ubisoft New Releases this happens on Older titles I wouldnt be surprised if its the same here

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

Yeah just noticed 1440p ultra most everything it just said my GPU was 89% utilized hope for better performance at least by a bit from the 5900x.

Yeah that’s what mine hovers at too

but my cpu isn’t actually maxed out just faulse reading from task manager because it doesn’t recognise my oc.

 

so it’s either driver or optimisation issue

Interesting the speed difference with such high graphics settings. With my settings 61fps average with a 3900x and RTX 3080 at 3440x1440.  I just retested with a 5900x and the average is 73fps!  It shows 100% GPU limited now .

 Interesting however there was a patch today claiming to fix a lot of problems so il test and let you know how I get on
