I've heard it's 50GB all in all, 35 of those are sound files from what I've seen. O.o

EDIT: I said all in all, that means everything after the download. Sorry about that misconception. :D

Aprox 48GB - to suffice compressed audio and texture packs, and wide support of the pc platform (various pc parts compatibility for lower and high end pc's)

according to my origin download screen right now it is 49.99gb basically 50gb. apparently like the others have said a good portion is audio files and compatibility files for a large variety of systems. Physical copy is 3 discs and according to my co worker you still have to download some things after that

I don't think you have to download anything. When I installed it via DVDs, it took a couple minutes to unpack the audio files. The whole process took less than 10 minutes.

The Origin/download/Installer only grabs 21GB for you,......and it unpacks to 50GB.

You do NOT download 50GB of data.

As it downloads it decompresses/unpacks, meaning you actually download about 21GB, and it unpacks to 50GB, 35Gb being audio.

Its really stupid that they did not have Origin do the 1-100% being 0-21GB and then unpack like it does.. making it say 50GB is misleading as your not downing 50GB but 21GB.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz
