Can anybody tell me which computer components use what rails of the PSU ??

You will have to be more specific.

You have a PSU in mind?

12V rail

The most important rail in current PSUs, mostly used by the power hungry parts like the GPU and CPU, but also part of the motherboard and part of the molex connector.

5V rail

An important, but much less used rail, mostly used by storage and part of the GPU.

3.3V rail

A rail that gets less and less relevant, it provides power to the RAM (though this can be 12v as well these days), chipset and M.2 drives

Can you tell me what other things run off the 12V rail?

I am interested in the 12v rail. Do the graphics card and CPU Only run off it??

Here is mine, it has 12x 12V+ Rails and they are labeled here:

I mean that is pretty much what the computer runs off of if you think about it: 3.3V for RAM/M.2/chipset, 5V for storage and some of GPU so must be like PCIe power through the motherboard, and 12V for CPU and GPU as they are power hungry; covers all the parts of a computer besides fans which run off 12V if 3 pin.

My PSU has come with my case. It has a pretty weird amperages in it's rails.

3.3V - 25A

5V - 38A

12V - 15A

-12V - 0.8A

+5VSB - 2A

I have a I5-9400F and a Geforce 210 with 16GB Ram. I want to upgrade my graphics card. I want to know the max TDP of the graphics card I can go up to.

108W MAX on the 12V+.

Very outdated PSU....

So something like a GTX 1050 that runs off the PCIe slot.

But you really need to get a new better quality PSU.

Something like a Corsair CX450 or CX550M.

Is that PC a prebuilt for did you put it together yourself?

What is it?

It should be 180W max maybe....because 15*12 = 180

OK, get a new PSU.

Throw that PSU you have in the trash, trust me don't use it.
