We have a LTT overclocking database....

 

Cinebench database / scoreboard, too... (which should have CPU overclock numbers too)

its not exactly best but with a measly 30 euro cooler i got my 3800xt currently at 4.5 on 1.35v it can go higher ofc but not with this cooler no doubt it can do 4.7 all core with good cooling.

i dont see why that is high? at stock it well surpasses that. so its an undervolt if you take that into account. 

der8auer also overclocks his ryzen processors like so. like 

this video. yeah its a bit old but he has his 3800x at 4.4 on 1.37v so my 3800xt being at 4.5 at 1.35 is not bad at all   

 

the whole voltage thing is not something you should worry about as long as your not doing 1.45v orso

i find that difficult to believe. amd says that their chips can handle voltages perfectly fine around 1.4v. so there most be more to that.

besides i tried to see what i can do at 4500 and it cant run cinebench r20 at anything below 1.35v at that speed. it doesnt crash the pc. just cinebench, but at 1.35 its perfectly fine.

unless there is a mountain of data supporting that you shouldnt run a ryzen 3000 at anything higher than 1.3 i wont believe it.

 

also, mine didnt. mine jumped higher. and it has a clock of around 4.150 then all core. but it reaches 88c and with this oc of mine it reaches 83c max thus waayy better and with an oc.

so what most say is that some will have this issue others will not, but it all depends on silicone. MY chip is a 3800XT those XT chips are the best of the best binned chips. 
if i check hwinfo it says that the max fit voltage is right around 1.29v under max cinebench r20 load. i call bs on that tho. because the vcore as they also wrote above was 1.325v out of the box like this now. 
which would mean that the scientists at AMD that actually make these processors have no idea what they are doing with the voltages they said. i call bs on that.

That doesn't change the FIT voltage, still depends on chip.

Run P95 128K. Mine does around 1.262 - 1.244V.

 

If it's anything higher than your static OC, lower it and/or increase vdroop

according to this mine is around 1.194v which is rediculously low. a cpu cant provide good performance at such a level. lmao. i still dont believe that voltage bs. if amd says its fine. if even in that big text you quoted they say that 50% is also fine with more then well what do we believe. i bought this chip cause its the best bin. thus probably also capeable of handling way more voltage than a normal 3700x or 3800x.

voltage is the same, clocks are higher.

Those who run their Zen 2 higher than 1.3v without noticeable degradation won't start a post. So there is no way to know how many Zen 2 chips degrade after a short period of time. 10 in 10? 1 in 10? 1 in 100?

 

I have my 3600 running 4.5Ghz at 1.32v for four months now. Let's see how soon it becomes unstable.
