What's wrong with my final fantasy xv preformance?

So i got ffxv and realised that i was only getting around 60 - 80 fps at 1080p max settings in final fantasy xv. im using a 2080ti, 3700x, 32gb ram 3200mhz. Is what im seeing right? my cpu temps are at 90c which i do know is hot but the clock speeds look fine, as well as my gpu, which hits about 81c. Is there anything i can do?

In general max settings are a joke and aren't even remotely optimized.

I know, but when i compare my fps to other benchmarks, mine are way lower. I see fps gets an average of 130 - 140, but im only getting about 80 - 90...

Reinatall drivers (ddu) and run afterburner. 99% of the time that answers this question....

Thanks for the help, but i realized that i was also using the extra nvidia turf effects, shadowlb and hairworks which was crippling performance. Turned it off and it was perfectly fine.
