Will these work together? hx426c16fb3/8 vs hx424C15FB3/8

Please help out a noob.

I recently ordered a new ram for my setup but I'm worrying because I don't understand if these two rams will go with each other or not.

The ram that I already have is Kingston Hyperx Fury hx424C15FB3/8 (Factory timings: DDR4-2400 CL15-15-15 @1.2V)

I ordered the exact same part numbered memory from Amazon but after opening the package I found out that it is hx426c16fb3/8 with factory timings of DDR4-2666 CL16-18-18 @1.2V

Now there's obviously a different of frequencies and the cycle timings.

I've had a bad experience before where I stuck in rams of two different frequencies and ended up killing one of them.

I don't want to kill the one that I'm already using as it is out of warranty.

I need to use both together.

Please let me know if these two can be used together.

Thanks in advance.

It can be problematic.also on Amazon the full part number is displayed in the product's page.

Just return it and buy a matching one instead.
