Does cheap PSU affect performance like stutteringg in game?

I have cheap PSU (micronics caslon 700w) and im experiencing stutter in COD warzone. Does it affect the performance?
Do i need to upgrade soon?


PC SPEC:
i5 8400 

Rx 5600 xt
2 pcs 8gb ram 2666hz

It can if the ripple is really bad so the GPU isn't getting stable power.

My computer specs are more than capable of handling COD WZ at 1080p. And my CPU and GPU temps are normal when in game. Idk whats happening

I would upgrade the PSU to a better quality unit one in any case.

Hey, are you using a SSD or HHD? I have a HDD as a 'gaming' drive and notice the Witcher 3 stutters really badly for the first minute or so. This is especially noticeable whenever steam is updating the drive while I play. I have a Ryzen 5 1600af, 16 gb or DDR4 3000mhz RAM and a RX 5700, so it's more than capable of playing it on 1080 settings...

If you're worried about the PSU going bad, try taking an empty cardboard cylinder, (one from an empty paper towel) and place it against it when it's on.

It's good to sometimes have a second opinion with sound too.
