Computer Won't Turn On

I was trying to test my friends Ryzen 7 3700x and 2080 super to attempt to diagnose what was going wrong with his pc (we did a case and psu swap and the pc stopped working, we still haven't been able to figure out what went wrong) and the Fans would Rev up to max but no image would display on the screen, upon changing the Cpu and gpu back to my Cpu and gpu it Did the same thing the fan's would rev to max and nothing else would happen, i tried clearing cemos but nothing changed and Now the computer dosen't do anything whatsoever, if anyone has idea's please let me know.

Samsung 970 evo 256gb

Ryzen 5 1600af

Sapphire nitro R9 390

Gskill trident z 16gb

Evga 700br

Phanteks p300a

Reading that you did a CPU swap tells me that there could be a problem with the motherboard. 

 

There is the possibility it may have not survived the transplant to another case.

 

I would

- double check that all motherboard stands off are in place

- try using the old power supply

- removing and inserting the RAM modules
