Using old NH-D14 with new AM4 build

Xolin

Will this kit allow me to install an old NH-D14 on Ryzen 5 3600?

Did it come with the D14? If yes, then no.

But if you have a receipt you can ask Noctua to send you a new AM4 bracket. They did that flawlessly for me.

Edit: you need this

I sent proof of purchase 24 hours ago, but I have not been answered yet, so I used the AM4 kit that comes with the U12S. The only way to install the cooler is vertically (with the NM-AMB11).

I have ran Cinebench and my max temp reached 71 degrees. When I had the stock cooler on previously, I was hitting 90degrees. Does it sound ok?

R5 3600 - 4.3Ghz, 1.25V max

Temps seem alright. The thing is, with the correct mounting hardware you could've rotated the heatsink by 90° which would benefit Airflow and look better.

Maybe you can change that once Noctua replies and sends you the stuff.
