ok but how does everything else look to you

welcome to the forum

remember to quote or mention the person you're replying to so that they'll see it

@eeeee1 for example

as for your rig, everything looks good

tho i see you changed the PSU to CV550W, which isnt a very good psu, according to this list

for your rig, the corsair CX550 should be a better pairing

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

I see no reason to buy a GTX 2060 at $349 when you can grab a much faster 5700XT for $389 (after rebate)

https://www.newegg.com/msi-radeon-rx-5700-xt-rx-5700-xt-gaming-x/p/N82E16814137471?Item=N82E16814137471

Also keep in mind Skyrim only uses one CPU core, and you cannot run it at above 60fps because of game engine limitations, so the best pairing for a monitor would be a 4K 60Hz.

The CPU is a fine choice for gaming, make sure to correctly configure your RAM's XMP profile to get the most out of it.

I also like your choice of fast storage because modded Skyrim can take a long time to load in my experience.

@Energycorewhat do you mean by the Rams XMP

It's a one button factory overclock that pretty much every RAM kit comes with nowadays.

Basically you go into your BIOS, you change your RAM profile to XMP, and you enjoy the additional performance. Most of the time the manufacturer guarantees it to run at that speed.

Here's a video on how to set it up

@EnergycoreDo you have any tips on a good 4k monitor

Well, depends on your budget. I am extremely satisfied with my LG 27UK650-W at $380-ish. For a cheaper alternative, I've heard good things about the LG 27UD68-P at $300.

The 27UK650-W has the advantage of supporting HDR10, which is nice to have though not a deal breaker for me. They're both IPS panels with great viewing angles and color accuracy.
