Looking for new gaming headphones

Loleskind
Go to solution Solved by CTR640,

Is a mic required? If not, why not DT880 or as Tigerleon mentioned, the Sennheiser PC38X? Or HD560S :P

But we can't recommend if we don't know your budget. There are a lot of great headphones out there.

I was using my hyper x cloud 2 and it broke and now I need a new pair any suggestions? I was thinking of buying the corsair virtuoso, steelseries arctis pro or one of the sennheisers

Steelseries and corsair headsets are disgustingly bad. Just get a pair of good studio headphones with an external mic like the modmic 4 uni. Also if you want good audio don't go wireless. If you need a headset and can't stand 2 cables. Get the cooler master MH751 or Sennheiser PC38X on drop.com

EDIT: I should say all gaming headsets are bad with some exceptions. That are the hyperX cloud headphones and the MH571 because they are a reskin of the takstar which are studio headphones.

Keyboard and mice companies should NOT be making audio products.

Sadly the Tygrs don't sell without the mic bundle for almost 300 dollars. Not here in Sweden anyways. Maybe @Loleskind can get them I don't know.

E10K isn't that great. Also the ATH-M40X's don't need an amp. Better off getting a mic.
