Same happened with me nearly 2 months ago. I searched on Google and found a working solution to this problem. Simply follow the steps and that's it.

Can anyone help me in fixing Windows 10 Photo App? I am trying to fix it but couldn't. If anyone can help then it will be pleasure for me. Thanks in advance.

Black screen appears when I open any photo. It waits for few minutes and then closes automatically.

Yes, my software is updated with latest version in market. I just updated it about 2 days ago.
