Recently have been experimenting with building PC’s in different ‘cases’ and have recently finished my first one. Would like some opinions or other weird cases.  Not finished yet, but it does post and run.

Does it make toast though? You should replace the heatsink with a custom one that you could clamp bread into. Then run Cinebench to get toast!

Nah, you wouldn’t believe me when I tell you, but it’s Micro-Atx, 
Literally is just pieces from various rebuilds of my mates PC’s, an old A6-6400k, 8GB of DDR3 1666, a full sized 650w PSU, and a old 1TB seagate drive.

 

no gpu sadly as I don’t wave a SFF one at the moment

I haven’t worked out how to do that yet, however once I can, I’m going to replace the original buttons too as they fit perfectly with an old power/ restart set I had on an old XP machine

You put all of that in a Toaster??? [Looks at own Toaster] How big is your Toaster???

Love the idea, however I don’t have the space in this build to put in a functioning pc in the space.  However I know a charity shop selling a 4-slice toaster that I might try that on when I have some free time.

I love this. To be fair, I think with the right 4-slot toaster you could get a ATX board in (probably not a power supply too). Though the current toaster is 17cm W x 30cm L x 21cm H

Mine isn't large enough to do this even if I use a MiniITX.

If you aren’t looking for peak performance or anything I’ve found (with insulation), you can fit a pi nano into Even a full toaster, as I managed to fit one in the crumb tray (with insulation to isolate), not plugged in but could be funny.

 

Though roughly what size is your toaster? As I bet you could get a laptop board in it.

Yeah I know, personally It was more of a idea than a answer.


However there’s probably emulation software for windows.  If not I know a site that actually runs a copy of Windows 95 for your computer in a web browser.
 

However I’ve just now thought back to Linus’s old adverts about the intel skull canyon nuc.  That might fit, expensive though and not diy. Or maybe an Intel nuc?
