What would you do?

I have a PC with an i5 3570K but have NO gpu, aka I'm using Intel Shit 4000. Originally I was thinking of buying a 770, but I thought of getting a 750Ti and waiting for Maxwell and then replacing 750Ti with 870 or whatever. After all I have no gpu (and never in my life had :'( ) so I'm PRETTY sure a 750Ti would be good enough for some time until I get a more powerful one. Games I'll mostly play are Bioshock 2/Infinite, Skyrim (probably with no mods YET), maybe replay Crysis 2 (this time not in 720p as I did on my old APU cough), and Tera Online, which is badly optimized and even people with dual titans get low fps sometimes so...

 

TL:DR: I have no gpu at all: get 770 now and forget about any upgrade anytime soon, or get 750Ti now and wait until Maxwell "870" which I'd theorically be able to afford with the money I'd save + money I'd get in the meantime. ((Btw it'd be Zotac either way because it's the cheapest and most available in my country so keep that in mind whichever one you suggest)

750 Ti and wait. If the 800 series is anything like the efficiency of the 750 Ti then it will be worth the wait.

R9 270 and wait. It's got a bit more horsepower that'll let you tough it out until Maxwell.

what's wrong with the R7 265 or a R9 270?

There's no R7 265 in my country and the 270 is a lot more expensive than 750Ti. R9 270 costs around $3600 while 750Ti is $2300, and 770 is $5000.

The 780 is.. twice the price of the 770, plus I need a new PSU anyway, so to get a 780+Psu I'd need over $10000 of my currency and my motherboard doesn't support sli. By the time I'd "get a new 780" I'd need a new motherboard, and I think in a year or more I'd end up not finding many 1155 motherboards at all (my country sucks at having technology a lot) meaning I'd have to change cpu+mother+get 2nd 780 so... I'd honestly like a 780 but in January there was a dollar economical crisis and everything went up in price like crazy, now it went down considerably again to "almost normal" but 780s didn't really go down at all
