Selling Legos

I have a fek ton of legos & wanted to know if it was worth selling sets without mini-figures.

 

I have minifigures & I know some can be worth like 5~25~ USD per. I have a lot of star wars, city & various sets.

 

Mini-figures are easy. I have a ton of clones & storm troopers.They'll sell no problem. However the bricks on the other hand are the difficult part. I know some lots on eBay can sell a ton for very little... however shipping is one conundrum.

I sure as heck ain't paying for shipping on these things.

 

 

I have semi-complete sets & stuff like that. Do people really care if a few bricks here & there are slightly off? Anyone know? Input?

 

 

If it's not worth selling except in perfect condition, then I'm just going to attic everything again. There's just soooo many legos.

Do you need the money?  If not, I would contact a local women's shelter and see if they would like it as a donation.  Organizations like that always need toys and stuff for kids in care, and LEGO might be one of the greatest toys of all time

The minifigs are easy sells. Otherwise it's basically digging through the batch to find rarer pieces and selling the common stuff in bulk. Unless you have full complete sets I'd say it's not worth trying to sell partial sets.

 

Even still, for the rarest pieces it's only a few bucks. The uncommon pieces are maybe 25 cents to a dollar. According to the internet, which is never wrong, unsorted bulk goes for $6-10 per pound. So pull the minifigs and anything you think might be uncommon to sell separately.

 

Also, to be pedantic, the plural of Lego is... Lego.

Yeah I mean, there’s a Fek Ton of legos and I want to get what I can out of it. Some may be collectors pieces so some sets belong there. 

 

Whatevers left over should go there. (Shelters)

 

Im clearing out another house & some good wills and hospitals are refusing donations because of covid . Not even taking the word of what’s being donated. 

 

Cant donate some stuff if we wanted to haha.
