Recommend a good 1440p HDR monitor?

Hi

 

I am looking to upgrade from an old 1080p gaming monitor.  I am trying to find any information about a good HDR Capable 1440p monitor does anyone have any recommendations?

Unless you are ready to spend big. Monitors under $700 or even $1000 aren't great for real HDR. Those labelled HDR10 and HDR 400 are....let's say don't bother. Monitors capable of at least 600 nits or 1000 nits of brightness and with many local dimming zones are very pricey. If you don't mind the price, Asus PG27UQ is a good one.
