OMG pls im so frustrated, i just bought my new pc, not have even completed 1 day  and when i go into bios and configure ram speed to its normal frequency at 3200mhz and cpu which is ryzen 5 3400g to 4.2 ghz which is also not overclocking and i use integrated vega 11 igpu so i set video output to igfx and i changed vram to 3gb which is all fine, but when i exit bios the system just forcefully shuts down and doesnt boot until i remove the CMOS battery and reset bios and even after that it still does the same(shuts down when i change anything), the pc works fine but it doesnt work at intended speeds its just that when i exit bios even not changing any settings it just shuts down. there is no faulty in the hardware as its brand new and as i said the pc runs fine but does this when i save and exit bios. pls help im frustrated.

have you enabled XMP in bios?

do you have the latest bios? this should fix some of memory compatibility.

Set the vram at lower capacity. Set the memory to 3000mhz (or 2993mhz).

Actually you don't need to set it exclusively, you can set it to the lowest and just let windows manage the capacity when playing games.

its running at 2400mhz right now which makes me loose lots of performance as im on AMD. i am scared to go into the bios to change anything actually. it  just forcibly shuts down. is there any way to change ram frequency without bios?

no don't be, that's the only thing that would make it run accordingly.

If the motherboard doesn't set the correct speed, then you should do it manually.

it's a new computer, you should make sure everything runs perfectly, or else you return it asap.

so you can not enter bios?

i can enter bios but when i change anything and then press save and reset, it just shuts down the pc and to start the pc back i have to remove the cmos battery and then only it will work fine, and if im in the bios, i can only exit by booting from the hard drive which doesnt save what i've done

you aren't supposed to set "anything" only
