use onboard audio to control monitor speakers

is there anyway i can use onboard audio to control my monitors speakers, my onboard audio is pretty great for a cheap board. and the speakers in my monitor are pretty great. but i want to use them with my onboard audio. and there is no sound in for my monitor sadly...

Your monitor use HDMI to stream the audio, if it doesn't have an audio input, there's no way you can use the onboard audio.

yeah i realised this and ended up using a mini 8ohm desk amp to power them and plug into the onboard audio i kept the original conector for the monitor so that i can solder a jack to the thing and put in my own audio in port. my monitor is a xz39cu so it never had a warrenty to begin with.
