So, i'm not really sure what sub-forum this would have fallen in, so mods, please feel free to relocate.

I have a Ryzen 3900x build in one room that's meant for gaming. However, in another room, I have a more acoustically-treated setup for audio production. The two rooms happen to have cat5e lines ran between them. Rather than have two computers, one in each room, are there any good devices that could pass HDMI and USB over ethernet? I tried some kit off amazon, and while the display works perfectly, the USB functionality is a bit janky, which affects the connection to my audio interface. Ideally, a solution that doesn't cost as much as a second computer would be more ideal.

We have used these here at my work and taken video over 50 feet to a 55 inch TV screen for digital signage with good results

as far as USB over ethernet, we gave up and just bought 50 foot powered USB extensions. Never could get USB to work right.
