How many fans in a case is the bare minimum for air flow, as i have noticed most budget cases just come with one rear exhaust

1-2 fans is the minimum you want, more if you want the system more quiet.

Zero depending on the components, the case, and environment

lets say a r3 3300x with a 2060 for example? I'm just curious as to why people don't buy the budget ones looking at airflow

right, but do you think the temps will be affected by a huge margin?

2 fans min.

The biggest reasons are

Noise

Airflow ( 2 parts to this)

         1. Cfm-how air can the fan more

          2. Static pressure-the ability to push or pull air though objects like heatsinks, stacks of hdd, and other.

Reliability

All electronics produce heat. Using air keeps this in check so the components can continue to operate properly. Air is the most common way of doing this.

FYI the p12 fans from Arctic are very cheap and considered one of the best fans currently.

no, as the video shows at 11:55:

they are affected, not to a huge margin.

I'd say at least 1 intake and 1 exhaust fan. Optimal is 2 intake and 1 exaust as a minimum to have a positive pressure setup where dust will build up slower.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

I've found that 1 exhaust in the back of the case is the absolute minimum, and can drop temps by up-to 10-15 celsius depending mostly on your case. I'd add 1 intake as well, but after that the benefits are gonna be much smaller.

In real life, I act like I know less about tech than I actually do.

Main build: CPU: AMD Phenom ii X4 955 Black Edition @ 4,0GHz (Cooler Master 212) | GPU: MSI RX580 8Gb | RAM: 12Gb DDR3 | PSU: Chieftec CTB-500S  | Mobo: Asus M4A87TD/USB3 | Storage: Seagate 500Gb HDD

Yes, I'm aware my CPU is a huge bottleneck. No, I don't really care.

oh okay cool, as the case i was buying comes with just 1 exhaust and i had a tight budget so i did not know how many fans i absolutely needed, i will probably check out some cheap fans, do you have any recommendations?

I just ordered some cheap, no-name fans from AliExpress, since I wasn't about to drop 15€ on a single fan. Someone here will probably say that it does, but I don't think the fan models really make much of a difference apart from noise.
