Can android be trusted since Google controls it?

It all depends on you here. How much are you willing to trust company X with your data.

Creating a fake facebook account and using a fake ID if they ever ask you to validate your name, is easy as balls. They aren't a gov entity so they wouldn't really have any real way of verifying if the ID is legit or not (blur out the numbers on it, just have it show the "name" and maybe a picture), as such, it's also not illegal, because again, not a gov entity. There's no law anywhere as far as I know that says you have to give your real ID to a random ass company that ask for it with or without, just cause.

can oculus be trusted since Facebook owns them?

It's facebook they are about as bad as it gets with trust. They basically have your way of movement, a 3d scan of the room you are in, camera data and a whole bunch of other stuff with oculus on you so they can give you even more personalized ads and include you in more studies.

That is what happens if you just go through and click accept on everything they give you without actually reading the T's&C's
